Located on Station Road, Clitheroe, we are a traditional public house bursting with charm and character.
We are open every day from 11.00am – 10.00pm, serving an enormous selection of drinks including cask ales.
Food is served from 11.00am – 7.00pm Monday – Saturday, Sunday Roast 12.00pm – 5.00pm.
Introducing our new chefs Liselle & Neil, and their award winning food. We know that food is essential, and believe that good food is even more important. Here at the Castle we have combined the skills of our fabulous chefs with top quality, locally sourced produce to ensure that each and every bite you take is a little piece of heavenly goodness.

Delicious home cooked food
Good food is everything to us, we understand that many people may just go to have a pub to have a drink, but once you sit down for a meal here with us at the Castle, you’ll want to keep coming back for the food!
Our chefs Liselle and Neil have won awards previously with their food and we are so glad to have them on board with us. Our entire menu has been created to showcase the best of our local ingredients.
Whether you’re looking for traditional, hearty pub grub or something to share with a friend over a drink or two, we have something on our menu for you!
Cask Ales
Draught beer at its best
We are a pub first and foremost, which means we take pride in the drinks we serve and that’s shown through our cask ale choices!
We personally taste test every single ale before we decide to serve it to our customers. We handpick local breweries and ale producers to make sure that every pint we serve to you is as good as the last you had with us!
Here at The Castle, we do have rotating ales and we’re also on the lookout for brand new ales that we think will fit perfectly behind our bar.
Live Sports
Live Sports on tap 
If football is your thing, we’ve got it in spades! We show all live games on both Sky Sports and BT Sport.
There are multiple large screen TVs in the pub which means no matter where you’re sat, you’ll have the best seat in the house. We also show other sports including darts, golf, rugby and F1.
So grab a few friends and come on down to the Castle to watch the match and enjoy some drinks and good food!
Live Events
Live local music at The Castle
Singers, tribute acts, you name it (and if they’re good enough) we’ll book it!
We love to showcase local talent in our pub and that is why we have regular live entertainment nights. Why not head over to our Facebook page to see who we have booked in for the next few weeks?
DJ every Friday from 8pm starting June 25th and Live music every Saturday starting 26th June from 8pm, to see artists booked check out our events!
Reserve a Table
Good food, good company
We know that things are a little bit different at the moment and from all of us here at The Castle, we want to keep all of our customers as safe as possible.
In order to keep safety as our top priority, we can only accept booking of up to 6 people, that number includes any babies and children.
Please make sure that you and your table comply with the latest Government local restrictions when it comes to the mixing of different households.

Pool League
Enjoy our pool table
Since we have a full sized pool table, you might as well get as much use out of it as possible!
We are currently in the process of setting up a pool league team, so if this is something that you and your friends would be interested in, please come and talk to one of us to register so we can get it set up as soon as possible!
Dog Friendly

Your pooch is a part of your family and that’s why we’re proud to be a dog friendly pub!
We have a large beer garden for you all to sit in if the sun is out, but if you would prefer to sit inside we can cater to that also.
All of our staff would love to see your furry four legged friends and we have enough water bowls and dog treats to go around!
